The Canadian population is rapidly aging. How is our health system preparing to meet the complex health needs of seniors? How will this shape health policy in the future? To learn more, come out to the McMaster Health Forum Student Leadership event “Advancing the Health of our Aging Population: The Role of Health Policy” on Tuesday 10 November from 3:30pm – 4:45pm. The event will be held in the McMaster Health Forum Dialogue Space on the fourth floor of Mills Library.
Our panel discussion features a number of experts including Dr. Walter Dawson (Director, Research and Analytics, Oregon Health Care Association), Dr. Amanda Grenier (Director of the Gilbrea Centre for Studies in Aging), and Dr. Michel Grignon (Director of the Centre for Health Economics and Policy Analysis). Students from all faculties are invited to attend to learn how various forces are shaping health policies in Canada as the population grows older.
Space is limited so please register soon! To reserve a spot, you must RSVP to mhf@mcmaster.ca with the subject line “Aging Panel Discussion.” Please include your name, program, and faculty in the text box.
