An interactive talk with Dr. Paula Rochon, the Vice President of Research at Women’s College Hospital, discussing challenges older women face in managing their health and what policy responses may be required to address their unmet needs. The session will also involve a unique opportunity for students to ask Dr. Paula Rochon about her career path as a distinguished female scientist, professor and administrator.
Dr. Rochon received her medical degree from McMaster University, completed her fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of Toronto, completed a Master in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health and a research fellowship in gerontology. We invite McMaster students to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about women’s health, challenges facing the Ontario health system, and various professional paths which may be of interest!
